Believe in the Magic of Dreams
Each and every one of us has the ability to reach out, to grow, to change for the better, to set our goals and to begin traveling in the direction of our dreams. If there is any secret at all to being happier in life, it is this: to realize what a marvelous person you are to begin with; to treat that person with love and care; and to understand that is you truly desire for your dreams to take you places you’ve never been…all you have to do is believe in yourself, and the magic of dreams.
I believe that the most magical of all dreams comes to is in the form of a rainbow. The magic of the rainbow’s rays helps me to see more clearly God’s dreams as they come to life for me. The colorful spectrum of our beautiful rainbow, the symbolism of God’s promise to his people, give individual colors simple, but elegant beauty, and wonderful spiritual teachings.’
When Mark Sexson founded the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, I can’t help but speculate that this organization was the result of a vision that had come upon him. Could he have foreseen that the culmination of that dream would enrich the lives of so many young women in future years? Because of Dr. Sexson’s dream, thousands of young women have been decidedly influenced in a positive way and, therefore, have had a great opportunity to realize the potential of their own dreams.
“If we don’t take chances, we won’t reach the rainbow’s end. If we don’t ever
search, we’ll never be able to find. If we don’t attempt to get over our doubt
and fears, we’ll never discover how wonderful it is to live without them. If we
don’t go beyond difficulty, we won’t grow any stronger. If we don’t keep our
dream alive, we won’t have our dream any longer.
But…if we take a
chance now and then, seek and search, discover and dream, grow and go through
each day with the knowledge that we can only take as much as we give, and we can
only get as much out of life as we allow ourselves to live…then…we can truly be
happy. We can realize a dream or two along the way and we can make a habit of
reaching for rainbows and coloring our lives with wonderful days.”
I dream of beauty that transcends time in a world that knows nothing else. Where all is clean and pure and good and all mankind is willing to help one another. Where discovery is a way of life and there is no fear of failure. Where God is a very personal thing that is real to everyone. I dream of a time that has no pain, and where there is no despair. Where love has a constant meaning that keeps people together forever. I dream that all of this could someday be true and I pray that I will share it all with you.
If you have a dream, don’t give up on it. Even your most far-reaching dream is not impossible. If you have faith in yourself, and more importantly, faith in God, it is not inconceivable to believe that your dreams may come true.
Follow your dreams and pursuer them with courage, for it is in the pursuit of those dreams that make life really worth living!! BELIEVE IN THE MAGIC OF DREAMS.
